Nurture Nepal Charity

How is Bee Blest linked with Nurture Nepal ?

Another Bee Blest outcome but one that has been totally unexpected is the founding of a new Charity – Nurture Nepal.

Bee Blest opened the door for me to visit Nepal. While there my vision connected with a vision for empowering underprivileged people shared by Sarah and Bharat who have been working amongst the poor in Nepal for some years.

We joined forces and launched Nurture Nepal earlier this year.

This new Charity is not to be confused with Bee Blest but very definitely a closely connected partner, in many respects.
The Bee Blest – Arpana project is in fact a pilot for Nurture Nepal which crucially  includes education in its vision. This is essential education for those otherwise deprived of it as opposed to the curriculum linked education on all things bee related Bee Blest is starting to provide to young people in the UK.

“Bee blest opened the door – Nurture Nepal can achieve more!”

Arpana and her story

Arpana’s story below is one of the outcomes and fulfilments of a key part of the vision of Bee Blest.

It is amazing how just a little honey and money thus raised can go on to bless poor people in a poor country in another part of the world.

The story of Arpana and her bees has moved on significantly even since this video was produced about a year ago. We shall post an updated video when we’ve had time to edit which won’t be until a current flurry of activity in our Apiary.

We want to see a world where poverty and hardship are overcome

we believe in helping to reduce this statistic, as no-one should be living below the poverty line.

Our vision is for all people in poor rural communities to be empowered to work so as to improve the economic situation for themselves, their families and their community.
